How to improve your concentration

Don't focus on the score. Stay in present time to maintain your concentration. Stick to your established routine to avoid self-consciousness. If you get out of "present time" you loose concentration. Knowing your limitations and abilities gives you confidence.

How to improve your approach shots

Write your yardages down. Take time to prepare and figure out the real distance. Most amateurs have no idea how far their ball is hit and actually overestimate their yardage.

Keep your head down while putting

When you lift your head you focus too much on the result rather than the ball. When standing over your putt keep your eye on the ball and form the mental image of the path to the hole.

How to add distance to your drives

Grip the clubs with your fingers not your palms. Stance should be the width of your shoulders. Swing in a circle around your body with the impact at the inside of your stance. Use a right-to-left body swing (for right-hand ers) weight shift.

Putting
A3 degree opening or closing of a putter blade is almost impossible for the naked eye to detect!

If your Putter is 1 degrees off line from 5ft your putt will be 1 " off center.
If your Putter is 1 degrees off line from 10ft your putt will be 2 " off center
If your Putter is 1 degrees off line from 20ft your putt will be 4 " off center.

If your Putter is 3 degrees off line from 5ft your putt will be 3 " off center.
If your Putter is 3 degrees off line from 10ft your putt will be 6" off center.
If your Putter is 3 degrees off line from 20ft your putt will be 12" off center.

The PuttOScope© shows you how to:
1. Align your eye vertically over the ball.
2. Position the putter blade so it is horizontal.
3. Determine the line to the hole.
4. Square the putter blade to the line. i.e. position it at exactly 90 degrees to the line.
5. Swing the putter square to the line.
6. Strike the ball off the blades sweet spot.
7. Stroke the putter blade which results in the ball rolling properly.
8. Gives you proper balance with weight evenly distributed on both feet.
9. Position you in your "Optimum Putting Position".

*Remember that when you are looking at correct alignment you are dealing with Scientific Principles.
