Golf Rules There are rules of the golf game are such as a player is not allowed to touch the ground with the club before hitting the ball, not even for a practice swing.

Par three holes typically range in distance from 100 to 224 meters while par four holes from 225 to 434 meters. Par five holes usually contain a distance of 435 meters or greater.

There are many dangers that crop up along the fairways of a golf course like lakes, sand traps, trees, rocks, rivers and streams. The object of the game is for the player to hit the ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible. When the player hits the ball into the hole, he or she has completed that hole and will move on to the next hole.
